ACTIVE FOR SEVERAL YEARS IN MONTREAL’S MUSIC SCENE in various projects such as Syzzors and NOBRO, Raphaëlle Chouinard, Lisandre Bourdages and Sarah Dion drank a little too much Fireball one night and accidentally unleashed the beast that is Les Shirley. Dangerously catchy, their songs are heavily influenced by the 2000’s pop culture and rely on effective formulas where power chords, vocal harmonies and stimulating choruses lead the way. In Fall 2018, the band went on a first mini-tour of Quebec that culminated on December 5th 2018 with a sold-out show in Montreal at Le Quai des Brumes. Right after that, the band quickly entered the studio in February 2019 to record a first EP with Ariel Le Mercier. Meanwhile, they have chosen to join forces with Hell For Breakfast, the new division from the Montreal-based music label Slam Disques, in order to officially launch this first project which will be digitally released on April 26th 2019. In the meantime, Les Shirley invites you to celebrate with them at their launch party on May 4th 2019 at Le Pub Les Sportifs in Montreal as well as their next series of summer shows to be announced soon!

ACTIVES DEPUIS PLUSIEURS ANNÉES AU SEIN DE LA SCÈNE MUSICALE MONTRÉALAISE dans des projets tels que Syzzors et NOBRO, Raphaëlle Chouinard, Lisandre Bourdages et Sarah Dion ont bu un peu trop de Fireball un soir et ont accidentellement libéré en elles la bête qu’est Les Shirley. Dangereusement catchy, leurs chansons s’avèrent fortement imprégnées de la culture-pop des 2000’s en plus d’emprunter des formules efficaces où power chords, harmonies vocales et refrains stimulants mènent le bal. En automne 2018, le groupe a entamé une 1ère mini-tournée du Québec qui a culminé le 5 décembre 2018 devant un Quai des Brumes déchaîné. Par la suite, le band est rapidement entré en studio durant le mois de février 2019 pour enregistrer un premier EP avec Ariel Le Mercier. Entre-temps, elles ont choisi de s’associer à Hell For Breakfast, la nouvelle division de l’étiquette Slam Disques, afin de lancer officiellement ce premier projet dont la sortie numérique est prévue pour le 26 avril 2019. D’ici là, Les Shirley vous invite à célébrer avec elles lors de leur show de lancement le 4 mai 2019 au Pub Les Sportifs à Montréal ainsi qu’à leur prochaine série de spectacles estivaux qui sera annoncée sous peu!
